Product Description

Category of Refractory Brick/Fire Brick:

The main composition of clay brick for glass melting furnace is Al2O3 content of 30~48%, SiO2 content of 50~70%.

It is a kind of acid refractory. With the increase of Al2O3 content in the brick, its acidity gradually weakens. Therefore, clay brick is suitable for acid kiln environment.Can resist the erosion of acid slag and acid gas, the resistance to alkaline materials is a little less.Clay brick has good thermal performance and resistance to rapid cooling and rapid heating.The fire resistance of clay brick is similar to that of silicon brick, up to 1690~1730℃, but the softening temperature of load is lower than that of silicon brick more than 200℃.In addition to mullite crystals with high refractoriness, clay brick also contains nearly half of the amorphous glass phase with low melting point. The density of clay brick used in glass melting furnace is 2.40 to 2.56g/cm3, its refractoriness is as high as 1700℃, but the softening temperature under load is only about 1300℃, so it cannot bear load or bear pressure when used at high temperature.The thermal shock resistance of clay brick is better, the fluctuation range is larger, generally more than 10 times (1100℃/ water cooling), which is related to the clay brick linear expansion coefficient value is not too large and there is no polycrystalline transformation phenomenon and has obvious particle structure.

 

 

Production process:
The production process of Clay bricks can be divided into as following process:
Raw material mixing, molding, sintering, selection, packing, delivery.
1) Generally, Clay bricks was molded by dry pressing.
2) By means of mixing the material uniformity in proportion and ageing mixture some time. Then, pour some powders into the mold and dry pressing.
3) After dry pressing, the adobe needs to be pushed in the drying kiln to stove or stay in the air to dry. This progress will need about 3-5 days.
4) After this progress, then push the adobe into the tunnel furnace or shuttle kiln to burn around 1300C. This progress will be need about 5-7 days.
5) After burning, the finished Clay bricks will be packed on pallet.
